→ InstagramStas Ginzburg is a Brooklyn-based portrait photographer whose work spans long-term documentary projects focused on queer and trans activism, American subcultures, and life in public space. His photography has been exhibited at the Queens Museum, the National Portrait Gallery and Somerset House in London, and featured in Revolution Is Love: A Year of Black Trans Liberation (Aperture, 2022).
Ginzburg's portraits have been published in The Guardian, The Sunday Times Magazine, American Photography 40, and were shortlisted for the Arnold Newman Prize for New Directions in Photographic Portraiture (2024) and the Sony World Photography Awards (2025). He holds a BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design.
